Hello, I need advice

I've been trying to research pet birds online for a few weeks, and this forum seems to have the most knowledgable people.

I have no bird now, but used to have a cool white-capped pionus (Peabody). He never got along with my wife, so when we married he got sold. [sniff]

My first bird was a wild senegal (Dudley), then I had a wild Quaker (Gomez), and then a wild rose-fronted conure (Nigel). At this point I learned why wild birds were so affordable. Then I had a nanday (Reggie) that screeched bloody murder, followed by the pionus.

Hmmm, I got so carried away with my bird resume I forgot to ask questions.

For help on selecting and buying, etc., should I post here in the lounge or "Ask the Experts" for most and best replies?

Thanks in advance.
