The people that go to the movies..

are so stupid!

Okay, so yesterday I went to see "The Dark Knight" with my dad and my sister, and it was an excellent movie, by the way. But anyway I just don't understand some people...okay first of all there were at least 4 babies in the theater. Now I'm all for bringing babies into the movies but NOT THIS TYPE of movie! This movie was really scary, even for me, like I was nervous before seeing it. It's so dark and sinister. WHY would you bring your less then 1 year old baby to see such a movie? Second, they wouldn't stop crying at the beginning.

Next these 4 teenagers come in. 2 girls and 2 boys. One girl is wearing nothing but a bikini top and short shorts. She has a huge bun RIGHT ON TOP OF HER HEAD. What kind of genius wears their hair to a movie like that? She sat in front of my sister, of course. During the movie she keeps asking the kid next to her what is going on, she even asked who the Joker was? Oh I wonder. Then at one part she started crying, which was pretty funny, IMO. The part was kind of scary but theres not reason to cry over it. Why do live in this town again?

I have to admit that I'm guilty about bringing a baby to the movies. Me and my friend brought my godson to Hannibal when he was 3 months old but in our defense, the movie theater used to have cry rooms in the back for parents and kids but had taken them out and we didn't know. He was actually really good in the movie and didn't cry once.

I hate the people that talk on their cell phones at the movies. My friend and my boy friend do that and it drives me nuts! I turn my phone on vibrate and if I have to take the call at least leave the theater.

I completely agree that it is rude to talk on your cell phone during a movie. If you want to leave it on then at least put in on vibrate and step outside the theater to take the call instead of disturbing everyone else.

The people who annoy me the most are the ones who have to do a running commentary though the film.

Cell phones irritate me in a lot of circumstances. IMO, turn the cell phone off. If you can't even enjoy a 2 hr movie without a phone call, then something's wrong. What did we do before cell phones? People waited until we got home!

That's another reason I don't want to go to the movies as often as I used to! Sure, I don't really have time now with my new job and all but really cellphones are a HUGE problem here. The raised the price of tickets here to $10 a ticket for adults and it cost my dad $30 to get into the movie, the least you could do is not disrupt it after spending a ridiculious(sp?) amount of money getting in! They ruin it for themselves and EVERYONE else. I HATE when kids sit there a text in the movie theater, I text alot, in school and at work when I'm not supposed to but CAN'T it wait?! Seriously, don't even come if you are going to sit there a text the entire movie.

Sheesh! I hate that with a passion! I mean c'mon I don't need a translator to tell me whats going on in every scene. My husband and I went to a movie last week and an annoying girl that had already seen it was telling her friend things that were about to happen...I wanted to clobber her!

I hate when people (mostly teenagers or kids) come in and act stupid throughout the movies to show off to their friends and call out stuff GRRR!!! Oh and when people pull out their ciggies straight after they come out of a movie ARGH!!! I don't smoke so why do I have to walk through it...go to the side of the walkway GRRRRRRR!

Were we in the same theater? The same thing practically happened to me. Screaming kids and babies the whole time. Teenaged girls screaming and sitting on their boyfriend's LAP so I couldn't see over any of them!

Man, I HATE when those types of people enter the theater! Just recently I went to see a movie (it may have been Wall-E) and 8 teenagers came in at the last minute and wouldn't shut up!! Several times throughout the movie I went "Shhh!!!" to them, but it only worked for like 30 seconds.

I also hate it when people will open their cell phones so that the bright light from the screen distracts you from the movie. Just keep the phone OFF!!
