I'm back!!!

Hi Friends,
I have been away from this board for a while, but I wanted to let you know that I am back. It has been very hectic, wild, and crazy since I have been gone. I was still recovering from my illness which is still a work in progress, but much better. I then had a few family emergencies that I had to attend to which of course called me out of town. On top of all that my mom had yet another surgery, so I had to be there for her and help her recover which she is still recovering from. Then a very good friend of mine lost both of her parents in the same week. They were very ill and it was coming for a long time, but she never expected to loose them both 4 days apart.

Well, I am back now and hope to be part of your lives again. Share and hear stories, share and see pictures, and everything else that happens here. You have all helped me in the past through some hard times and I have missed you all.

I do have some new additions though - A friend of mine was looking to get rid of her parrotlets and get some more cockatiels. We actually did a trade and I got her proven breeding parrotlet pair and she got my proven breeding pair of cockatiels. My cockatiel's last clutch was 3 babies, however 2 didn't make it. I am still raising and hand feeding the oldest which is a sweetie and is now over 4 weeks. Since he has been alone I have been spending lots of time with him so he doesn't get lonely and I don't know - I might end up keeping this one. I am still undecided though. I also got a ringneck - you all know how much I love ringnecks and just couldn't pass this one up. This one is not tame as she went wild, but I am working with her and will hopefully have a tame one soon. She is showing progress and I do believe with time she will make an excellent pet. I am also hoping to add another ringneck sometime this winter.

Anyway, that is about everything new with me - not a whole lot. Oh and Cozi is doing just wonderful. I go to visit him alot and he still remembers me and wants to spend time with me, but he is very happy in his new home which I am so happy about. I miss that guy, but it's for the best.

I do have out of town family coming for a visit next weekend, so I might not be on much then, but other then that I am back and hope to talk with you all more again.
