Argggh! G4 tech tv! Boooo!

Okay - I'm a geek I know - but I have to rant - I hate this channel ever since the stupid Comcast merger! I want the old Tech TV back! I miss Martin Sargent!

Anyone else a geek?

I'm not a Tech Geek, but I am getting sick of Comcast and their need to run the world. Once I move, I'm getting satellite TV and using a different ISP. Comcast is making enough money, they won't miss me. But I do suggest that others follow suit. We need to let companies like Comcast know that they can't have a total monopoly. There, I've ranted!! :-)

I thought I was the only one that watched Tech TV. I also have COMCAST and haven't had time to watch any tv for weeks. I agree about COMCAST however. They are quick becoming a monopoly.

we have the same thing going on in the midwest with Charter Cable.....sounds almost exact....but anyways...I watch Tech TV all the time as I am definately a gadget and electronics FREAK!!!! But hey.....Geeks are "in".......

Geeks are in! I spent most of my younger years chasing the jocks, even tried a few bad boys too - but now I am head over heels for a techie, computer guru, gadget packin nerd - and I love him to pieces! He has helped me get in touch with my geeky side too! :icon_smil

Ditto. Actually, I quit watching the moment it because G4TTV. I really miss Screensavers, call for help, and all that other geeky stuff. Now it's just like games games games..

did Leo leport used to be on there? I absolutely do NOT have a computer savvy bone in my body - but I love him! He has a radio show here on the weekends and I always listen in while I'm working.

Yeah, Leo was on there, but they either got rid of him or he quit.

They canned everyone worth watching. Screen Savers fan here too. I don't think it will be too long before they are done. The blogs are all over them. My 11 yr old son who is a game maniac even thinks they just keep playing the same cheat shows over and over. I do like XPlay - but I think that will probably have a format change too before too long.

I am not a techie in any sense of the word. In fact, I am amazed when I can send an email. Give me a good trial anyday of the week. I am not so much interested in the pruient facts (although I do listen), but I can argue legal theories all day. My poor husband (who barely can watch Court TV) has to debate me often--LOL. I am addicted. Like today, they are having the closing arguments in the Sarah Johnson case ( a 16 yo who gunned down both of her parents with a Magnum rifle (she's guilty)), and there is NO way that I am missing that. Also, the Robert Blake verdict should be in today. I have been saying that for going on a week, but I think today is the day. I watched that no good Scott Peterson get what he deserves and it made my year. Here's the rub. I am a liberal, brought up by a VERY liberal Father. But, as a woman, I don't feel safe to be out after dark alone. That's BS! Arrest the criminals and throw away the key(sorry Dad). And yeah..I am watching the Michael Jackson case, but I am more interested in the legal part than I am MJ. I was never a fan of the freak. So there's my dirty little secret. I do plan parts of my life around Court TV. I hope you all can still respect me.
