Samm:

That would be delightful unless your BG is doing the biting (LOL). I don't care I LOVE those BGs!

Nancy, don't even CONSIDER coming to central Florida and not getting together! I wonder how many Florida people would be able to make the trip to Orlando or somewhere nearby (like Daytona Beach, LOL).

As to New Orleans, depending on the date that would be feasible for me.

Man Samm, if only I would have had more time when I was down there....Our schedule was complete chaos. Wake up at 6. Go to breakfast. Go to park. Get back at 11:00PM...lights out at 11:10..next morning, same thing......Would have really loved to meet ya, but alas, things weren't going my way.

New Orleans sounds GREAT!

Any timeframe yet? The more notice the better. Charlotte is one of the highest air fare markets in the nation, so the earlier I can buy tickets the better the price...... but count me in!

No timeframe as of yet. But if anyone wants to help in the process, please post the dates that you absolutely cannot attend, and we'll go from there.

Kevin, I was thinking about this yesterday. Let me know if you need some help putting this together. I'll help...phone calls, reservations, what to do in the area...whatever.

Samm, I don't recommend biting Nancy.......haven't you heard she has a new microscope? :icon_lol:

OK, well it looks like I'll miss out on the main summer gathering but I will be travelling around in Nov to meet a few people but will only have time for maybe So Cal, Fla and maybe a couple other places if I can get cheap tickets--Baltimore, Charleston and New Orleans of course! Lisa, maybe you could fly down and meet me somewhere, I won't be going up north, I can't handle cold weather!

Are there any Aussies on the board attending the QLD State Bird Fair in Brisbane on May 1? Maybe we could meet up there?

Katy:

If we go to Disney World, we'll fly. I hate long drives. We're still trying to get the family coordinated. I should have just snagged Lily and jumped on a darn plane. It would have been a lot easier, let me tell ya. I have a close family member in Deltona that I'll be forced to visit and that will probably be the only free time we'll get. No one can go for more than 4 days tops, probably 3 nites and 4 days. Everything is so complicated when you get old and have so many birds. Geesh.

Tiki - what part of Florida are you going to be in? And if you go to New Orleans you could pass through my neck of the woods on your way there!
