I used to live in New Orleans once upon a time. I went to Haines Elementary school. And I also went to Gentilly Terrace " a great place to learn". :)

However New Orleans is about 4,200 miles from where I live in Alaska so no go for me! Yahoo says it will take 65 hours to drive there from Haines Alaska (nearest town that you can drive out of)! LOL

ARGGGH!
I'm in Western NY - yes the armpit of the world! Although I would love to get down to New Orleans - I really can't commit as this is a busy year for us. I am supposed to be getting married some time this year - and that will be in Sedona, Arizona. We'll be there a week and then fly to Disney World in FL with our kids for another week. So I can meet up with anyone in those places whenever that is :aiwebs_01 :icon_roll

But for the time being I am here. I could make it out to see you Lisa and Jimmy - and any other North Easterners in Jersey/Maryland or the like. And Stephen - we could meet up in Toronto or something - Anyone else from Canada interested?

I, for one, CAN make it, but I won't show if nobody else is. If I go, I'll have Cliff meet me here in Arkansas and we'll get down there together (if he's down with that).

Kevin

I'm game for pretty much any time this summer with the exception of the week of July 11..... but other than that!!!!!

Alrighty then! Do I get my own room? With a jacuzzi? Huh Huh? Oh yeah - and do you serve those croissanty things in the morning too?

Didn't think so.

That's okay - gimme a sleeping bag and a cup of instant coffee and I'm good to go.

I, too, would love to meet others in the area. Lisa B. mentioned getting together at the Philly Zoo. If there's anyone in the area that interested in doing this, please let me know. Even if you're not in the area but are planning a trip this way!!! Going to the Philly Zoo is a fun time (it is America's First Zoo, how many of you knew that?). I know of a few members that are around here, but not sure of everyone. If you could PM me and let me know you're interested, I'll start getting things planned.

Like so many others, I don't know of many bird people. It would be so grey't to meet my BB family!!!
