Red face Odd Phobias/things that Disgust You

...Well, I was looking over the "10 Things You Didn't Know About Me Thread", did some editing on a previous post to the thread, and thought of a new thread idea. Do any of you have odd phobias, or odd things thats disturb you, or "gross you out" per say?

I'll start: Many of you already know what my "strange" phobia is(lol)(And some of you *cough* Jodi/Cliff like to tease me (lol))( :eusa_wall ), but;
I am ABSOLUTLY disgusted, and cringe at the site of crumbs(UGH It hurts to say the word, LOL). Crumbs UGH revolting; just thinking of them makes me wanna vomit. As a young child, I was very picky about foods contaminating each other(they had to be spaced out on my plate), and I would refuse to sit down where crumbs were.

I don't know what it is about them, but they just GROSS ME OUT( :aiwebs_01 ),....BIG TIME! Being I hate crumbs I hate foods that are big time crumb makers, crackers(GROSS), breads, pies, pastries, and even Chips AHoy Cookies(Oh man they make alota crumbs).

Just typing this post up, talking about this "phobia"(you could call it) makes me wanna gag.

So, Spill it,...what are your odd phobias, or what are strange things that "gross you out"???? :icon_mrgr

Right now, the only 'phobia' I can think of is drinking salt water (i.e. salt mixed in water, no worries though about the ocean and accidently drinkin some of it). I'm sick right now, and it's suggested when you have a sore throat to gargle some salt water. Last time I tried that (last year, February) my throat burned. Even tried some sore throat liquid stuff, which put my throat on fire, it hurt so badly. Turns out I had a virus. This time, I've been sticking to honey tea, icepops, medicine that is suppose to help, and anything else that might help besides salt water, sore throat liquid medication, and GSE + water... It just plain tastes too nasty and have no juice to remove some of the nasty taste... but then again it'd make the juice ucky, too!

So yeah, gargling salt water... I'll see if I can think of more later! lol

"So do you like meatloaf...it has either bread crumbs or smushed up crackers in it, or is that OK since they get wet then baked. ROFLMAO."

:eusa_sick :aiwebs_02

Jodi, you disgust me, and thanks to you and my new found knowledge that meatload contains bread crumbs, or crackers...I'm never eating it again. LMBO! Just kidding as always Jodi(about you disguting me(for the most part), I love ya too :icon_mrgr )(However, I'm not kidding that I'm never eating meatloaf again!lmao)

OMG Another phobia...SOGGY CRUMBS(UGH!!!!!!!!).... *GAG* *GAG* GAG*, thats revolting...soggy crackers, cereal(Any type UGH-even before put in milk)... I literally have trouble sitting beside people who put crackers in there soup)...Excuse me as I go grab a bucket :aiwebs_01.

I'm not much of a neat freak though I like things organized or to look nice... This goes for the furniture, silverware, cooking utensils, plates, cups, etc. This atleast makes things easy to get to, or just easier all around. We hardly have anything plastic (only plastic stuff might be a plastic spoon and a couple of plastic forks, and a few plastic cooking utensils, besides some food containers) so I like to organize by looks, type, etc.

I use to keep our food container drawer organized though no one else kept it that way so I let it be... I have yet to actually organize the cooking utensil drawer (too many and it would be hard to keep it organized), though I have done the livingroom the way it is now (which my mother likes too, as it's what she wanted as well without myself knowing), the wooden stake knifes, and also what cooking utensils can go into the ceramic pot (that's meant to hold cooking utensils).

So to say the least, I'm not a neat freak, though I do enjoy things being organized! (I should probably count how many times I have reorganized my room, if I could remember all the times! ugh... lol always moving the furniture and cages in there!)

I cannot have dolls in the bedroom. I saw a movie "Trilogy of Terror" when I was a young teen. Even though I love old horror movies--werewolves, frankenstein, vampires... I am really scared of dolls coming after me after the sun goes down. :aiwebs_02 I also can't sleep with my hands hanging over the side of the bed.

Hmmmm. I don't care for snakes, but I'm not paranoid about them. I hate to smell scrapple cooking. Frankly, the whole idea of scrapple simply escapes me.

I think that snakes and rats are probably as close as I get to paranioa.

Oh, I forgot my most fearful thing: the fear of getting lost. I hate to be alone in larger cities and trying to navigate. Makes me nauseous.

THE OUTLAW

I'm with Ellie......I m terrified of snakes!

LOL, I collect dolls from foreign countries in national costumes, I have well over 200 in a glass case, I think I will invite Christy and Steven to dinner (serving meatloaf, salad with croutons, soup and crackers and crumbcake)! On second thought, maybe not as Steven owns a snake!

I am not a neat freak per se, but I do have my DVD's and CD's in alphabetical order and woe to anyone who puts them out of order!

Yes, spices and herbs must kept in alphabetical order.

The thing that really freaks me out is chicken...I will not eat it or touch it. I will cook it for others but wear latex gloves and use a fork or tongs to move it.

I hate to wake up and find dirty dishes in the sink. If you use dishes after the last load is done in the dishwwasher, you better unload the dishwasher and rinse your dishes and put them in the dishwasher. Or woe unto you, the wrath of Diana will descend on you! di

I hate being alone. That's probably what scares me most.

I also have a fear of not being in control...but the weird thing is is that, on the outside, I'm really not a control freak.

my quirks are:

I'm so picky about how my groceries/toiletries/other stuff purchase at walmart (for example) are loaded on the belt and bagged. My friends even tease me about it!

I also can't have ANYTHING hanging off the edge of the bread on a sandwich. I will cut off the edge of the chicken/fish/etc. to where it is even with the bread

I know this is going to sound SO PETTY and SO PICKY but I can't take seeing a person "test" the bottle of wine when they have NO CLUE WHAT THEY are doing.

My don't we all have some major OCD's in here? well take a number! LOL!

But since this is about phobias and not OCD, I'm off the hook spilling the goods.

But as far as Phobias go, Bugs touching me! and Bats! Must be the creepy flying thing. But then again I do love the birds? Hmmmmm.
But bats flying around me freak me out BIG TIME! I was in a resturant recently and a bat flew in, and I flew out! But just like I said in "10 things" as much as bug facinate me, so do bats, but god help my if one comes near me or touches me. I know why this is too. Being the youngest of 4 kids, and having two older brothers that use to torture me as a little kid (not to worry I grew up to be be bigger than both of them and got my pay backs!) about bugs and bats, and I have never gotten over it.

John

Who also hates being alone in the dark. :aiwebs_01
