Wow, gas prices are getting higher and higher

The price of a gallon of gas here in Orlando went from $2.17 to $2.25 overnight! How much is a gallon of gas in other parts of the country or overseas?

Sounds like it is time to get out the bike and ride Samm - that is outrageously high! I personally am embarassed to say that I don't know what gas prices are as I work 5 minutes from my house so I fill up maybe once every two weeks. I will look on my way to work this a.m. and repost!

I know what you all mean...a couple of weeks ago the prices were around $2.29 and now they are up in the $2.40s! I live in the suburbs of Chicago ( I am pretty far west and they are still high)!

OK in Brisbane, I can get gas (petrol) for .92 a litre......now I have to try to convert that! OK 1 litre is .264 gallon. So a gallon would cost $3.48 Aussie. That would be about $2.61 USD. :icon_eek: Samm, stop complaining!!! :eusa_naug

Its SO outrageous that our friend in Tennessee decided to fly from Tennessee to Dulles, Washington DC because it was almost cheaper than driving. He got a $99 special to DC and a $114 return flight to TN. That REALLY puts things in perspective.

I was kinda thinking the same thing about my trip-car rental/insurance package, gas and time vs the cheapest flight I can find online. I'll be flying to your place and some others and just save the car rental for Florida. Actually I really like this thread because it is helping me a lot doing my trip budget!
