Lovely Southern Ca, its that time of year again!

Ahh, acres are ablaze, ash is snowing down, and the lovely smell of smoke in the evening. Make sure you run a air filter and keep your windows shut tight if you are not evacuated and be prepared and have your stuff ready to go in case of an evacuation.

Lets hear it for another lovely fire season!

Would it be October with out fires? I don't think that this year is going to be any where near as bad as last year was especially for us in San Diego. I hope that everyone stays safe and healthy.

They are evacuating in Oceanside from another fire in Pendleton. I keep trying to think what to do if they start up down this way....wet sheets on the outside of the aviary? Nosebleeds, itchy skin and ...oh yeah, fires! Love the fall

Yep, here we go again.
I can see the Pendleton fire from my house.
At least this time I will be ready to bring the fids in at the first sign of smoke and get that air filter going!

There is no ash or anything by my house right now... just in case though I should prob get an air purifier hmm.
O and some people in Oceanside are allowed to go home.
In the LA area where I grew up is getting hit bad right now an evacuation could be coming for my in-laws.

I watch the news in the morning
