Rain rain go away

In the past 2 weeks we have received over 10 inches of rain. We have had hail twice and today we are getting yet more rain. Some have said this weather is like having a hurricane without the high winds...................... roads have been flooded and we have a nice lake in front of our subdivision!
Anyone in need of this rain? Would love to share some!

Well, Laurie, I will pray for it to go away. I am heading down to the keys on Friday. I don't know how far away from the keys you are but still, if rain is in Florida....I want it to leave now!

Bummer Laurie - ya know you can always come to Buffalo - yesterday it was a beautiful sunny 70 degrees! Snows gone and things are finally beginning to green up a little. Of course today on my way to work it was only 34 degrees - but we still had sunshine! :icon_smil

LOL Laurie. Hard to believe we live in the same state. Really have not seen much rain here at all.

Yes, Laurie; we need more rain in Australia and would gladly take any you can spare! We had a drought recently mostly in the outback. Just starting to get a few showers in Brisbane, but I think inland they need it.

Laurie, want to trade for SNOW??? LOL We had a nice little blizzard here and a good bit fell since yesterday... Good news is that it's supposed to rain this week so it should all melt away again. Here's a pic I took yesterday when it was just starting.

The nice thing is that the Canada geese weren't too bothered by it, they still decided to stick around!!!

:icon_eek: Snow still Adi!?! Thats horrible LOL.... where I live in Southern Ontario it has been absolutely gorgeous(Sunny for the past many many days), and the last snow fall was weeks ago. We have daily temperatures of 12 degrees celcius now, and even occasionally get up to 20 :icon_smil ! Needless, to say their is no snow, and it doesn't appear that any snow will be coming back any month soon :icon_mrgr

Laurie,
I hope your rain went away.... in fact, I think it did... it came to Charlotte. I don't think I've seen it rain as hard as it did tonight since I left Louisiana. LOL. Hope you're drying out!

Steven, looks like you're in the nicer part of the country!!! We did have some pretty good weather up until yesterday..... No 20's yet but we hit 15 a few times.

The weather here is very strange to say the least. I don't think we ever got snow that wasnt' in the form of a blizzard!

I can't complain though, once the snow stopped today, it started to warm up nicely.
