"how much does a 5 color parrot cost?"

I check my blog's keyword referrer stats to see how people I finding my blog in search engines. Often people ask questions that I don't necessarily already have the answers to on the site, so I consider writing new blog posts to address those questions. I figure if one person found my blog by asking a question, others might find it helpful if I answered it.

So... today someone came to my blog wondering "how much does a 5 color parrot cost?"

Umm... any idea what the heck a 5 color parrot is? Can I just mark up the price of a 4-color parrot by 25%?

Yes, this was a real question, but no, I'm not serious.

OMG! I actually did LOL and almost spit my coffee on that one!

I would mark it up at least 25% AND add an additional charge. Extra features are always costly.

Hey... wait... I have sharpie markers and the pet store down the street has pure white budgies! Wanna make a deal? LOL

Will you include the mineral block that made her that colour in the purchase price?

What mineral block? I have no idea what you're talking about. It's a true mutation. I'll throw in a bridge too.

You got it Robyn! You and me, together, business entrepreneurs. Forging a new market for x-color parrots.

If anyone is interested in buying a 5-color parrot, the line starts here. Plus we're starting a waiting list for 6-color parrots

They sell the HUGE packs of sharpies at the office supply!

We will charge $50 PER color. Subtle blending is an additional $100. Pieds are half off (less to color after all!)

All these birds are color splits and will not breed true. Sorry.
