I think for the most part he's ok he's eating and now is getting along with Cocoa my mini McCaw before he was a little jealous of Cocoa because Peppe liked them both. Now he seems to be getting chummy with Cocoa. Thanks for writing. Hey if you know of any food to deffinitely not let near the birds please let me know. I heard about the grapes with Parrots but, anything you can think of please tell me I'm trying to read alot. About birds and nutrition. Have a great evening. Hugs Reba the Roto4

Avocado, chocolate, sweets, salty foods, oily/greasy foods, caffeine, alcohol, seed pits, uncooked meat, un-cleaned foods, and food that has come into contact with your mouth.
Oh, and macaws do not mix well with dusty birds (a.k.a. cockatoos, cockatiels, greys...) as over a period of time, if the air is not kept fresh and clean, the dust can cause respiratory problems. If you keep windows open/have an air purifier, and keep things washed/wiped down, then it wouldn't be a major problem. Just so you know incase...
