Where in Indiana are you located ? Here is a big HOOSIER Hello. I am in Indianapolis. We also have many of the same outside birds you posted. We have about 50 yellow finches and I have had a hummingbird for the last 2 days feeding on feeders.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner :icon_smil I've been so preoccupied with the bird talk forum, that I rarely get in here!

Anyway... I'm in Muncie. Not too far! Yes, I'm guessing we have a lot of the same birds. I am so disappointed the past few days though - I think the cold weather has discouraged my goldfinches from coming out. Before this chilly weather, I sometimes saw 4 or 5 on the feeder. I think some were juveniles - so cute!

Good to see another hoosier around! I really don't come across many other people from Indiana on my other forums.

This Indiana weather is getting on my nerves. LOL I know what you mean about the gold finches. They are in their nests keeping warm. I got a new digital camera over the weekend that takes better pics then my old one. I took lots of pics on Sat. with the old one Sunday I got the new one and the weather turned cold & the Woodpeckers & Bluejay havent been back. Wish it would get warmer. Here is a BEAUTIFUL pic I took last evening of a double rainbow.

Ah yes! That was a nice rainbow. I saw it while driving home right after the storm. But of course, I never have my camera when something unique pops up to take a picture of. <VBG>

Yep, the goldfinches and the bluejay have definitely been hiding in their nests. I am getting so annoyed with this chilly wet weather! I just wish the sun would come back out and warm this place up. It's hard to get out and get things done when it's cold and raining all the time. *L*
