Well my day started out .......with me being a bit down. We went to yet another dog trial and my dog once again "failed". I ended up withdrawing him because I did not want him to do another thing wrong without being able to correct it. I really do not know what is going on with him. We looked like absolute novices out there (we are actually in the novice. LOL). I was so depressed, I actually had a quiet cry to myself. Obviously Mysta knows no better, he thinks he did great!!!! He was so badly distracted by kids riding pushbikes around the canteen, and a toddler (not mine) walking around and a dog whinning, that he took no notice of me. I have decided to go to Rocky and train him (still go to my club also) but get some different ideas on what to do. I already have some ideas of my own, but there is a guy up there that has his own training school for about 20 years and he has written a book (not that that means anything) but I watched him the other night and his dog is spot on. My dog looks happy, tail wagging, but just that night he was not taking one stitch of notice of me. He is capable of getting great scores he has done so in the past, just getting this last leg of novice is killing me. Anyway, my kids all slept over their older brother and sisters' places, so I woke up to just my 3 year old who does not know what mothers day is yet (we will have to work on that one now. LOL). Anyway when we picked the kids up I got a lovely sterling silver ring from Roy, a pretty pair of shoes from Desley, and a basket full of "pretty jewellery" and bath "smelly" "girly" stuff from Vance, Kara and Rhianna. so my day ended well.

Happy Mother's Day from me too!
I had a great day - just perfect! Got up and my kids had the coffee already made, which was a great shock! Then my parents and Lynn's mother came to our house and we all went out for a fancy dinner. Came home - took a quick nap and then we went to Home Depot (cool right?), I just love that store. Got to get a bunch of stuff - we're finishing the basement, so I meandered around looking at lighting fixtures and such. When I got home I dug in the dirt for awhile - I know that sounds like work - but it's kinda therapeutic for me to watch the earth conform to my will. I'm digging out steps on a hillside. I have 2 kids already tucked in for the night - just had a bubble bath and now I'm here. A perfect day if you ask me. Oh yeah - as far as gifts - I got pearl/diamond earrings from my 14 yr old daughter, a coupon for a hug from my 11 year old son (which is something almost unheard of at his age :icon_eek: ), and my 5 yr old little girl made me a ladybug pin and gave me a red rose. My guy got me a beautiful floor standing jewelry armoire. I guess I made out prety good!
