I am doing novel month too!! I am going to work on making a short story I wrote for uni into a novel length story :)

I mostly write childrens' stories and am also working on a series of books which are good stories but written to be teaching aids for the phonemes.

Do you know what you're going be writing about?
Ohhhhh, your's sounds cool, and spooky! Yep. I know what I am going to write about. Mine is about a little girl who can feel people's and animal's emotions. We follow her life as an infant up to a young adult. Sounds kind of boring right now, but I have lots of ideas going on in my head

If I can make it come out right, I can do a sequel to her story for next year's challenge.

I'd love to read some of your children's stories Andie. That is what I'd like to do as well. I love children's stories and even have oodles of children's books around the house.

Thanks! I have a general idea on how the story is going to go and I pretty much got all the characters info written down! Your story sounds interesting too, a person who can feel people's and animal's emotions! That would be quite a gift to have! I might do a sequel for my story as well if my story comes out right. I have lots of ideas going on my head too! :D

Cool! Glad to hear you're doing the novel in a month as well! I don't think I could ever write a children's story unless I was forced to! To me, a children's story is a once in a blue moon occurence (or never happens at all lol). Just out of curiousity, what is a phoneme? I never heard of that word before.

That sounds fun, I have been kicking around a story idea for a while, perhaps I will sign up. Mine is about a doctor who specializes in head trauma, and he seduces the wives and mothers of his patients.

This will be my second time doing the novel in a month program. I'm not too interested in realistic fiction, but the plot for your story sounds interesting. If I were to write a story like that I'd give it some fantasy twist or something lol.

NaNoWriMo is less than two weeks away! For those that are participating, do you know what you're going to write and are you ready to start writing? : ).
