Never give your four year old a guitar to play rock band! When he gets excited you WILL end up with a bloody lip!

We got rock band last night as our Christmas present to one another (my husband and I) because it was on sale and we figured it would be better than sitting at home day in and out doing nothing. Well this morning before church we told the boys we would let them play a little bit, no big deal right? My three year old was on the drums and my four year old was on the guitar. Well I was sitting on the couch kinda leaning forward to listen to what my husband was saying (he was on the loveseat) because he was trying to spell out stuff so that our kids didn't know what we were saying. And we were trying to figure out about xmas for them and all of that. Well just as I leaned forward and asked my husband to spell whatever he was saying again my son jumped forward with the guitar to kinda do a jump slide like the "rockstars" do. Yeah the guitar made full contact with my face. My lip bled pretty bad and didn't stop for like five minutes. Now I have an upset belly from the blood and won't be joining my family for church. So yeah.

Ouch! I hate when that happens!
A couple months ago I was in my bedroom and went to lift my old dog onto the bed. When I bent down my 70lb shep/chow mix puppy came running down the hall and tried to jump over me into the bed. She hit ne square on the side of my face. I was actually out coal for a few seconds. When I came to there was blood all over the floor and my hands. I pounded the floor to get my hubs attention, he was in the basement. After rinsing my mouth he said I needed stitches. Off to the hospital and I got 3 stitches right at the corner of my mouth! Hurt like hell!

Yeah, thankfully I don't need stitches. But it still hurts.

Ouch! Sorry that happened! And even more sorry that i giggled a little bit while reading it, lol! Just had to because last night I was playing guitar heroe with my brother and he smacked me with the guitar across my legs when he lost. o.O

Hope your lip feels better soon! But isn't Rock band the best? I love it!

Yeah we just got it and we really like it. The boys woke us up at 7:30 this morning to play and instead of sleeping in like my husband offered I got up to play too. Maybe I should have stayed in bed.
