Yes you read that right. Dad, grandma and a friend all insisted I get some vodka and peppermint and let it sit together til peppermint melts. I go to store and get the tiny bottle of smirnoff. It was only $1.06 so that tells you how big it was....NOT VERY.

Soooo the peppermint melts. Mind you, I don't drink! One drink is enough for me. And it has to be fruity where I don't taste the liquor.

OMG, I took one big sip and every pore in my body opened up! Everything began to sting as if I poured it on an open cut or something...I'm gasping for air, the birds are laughing, the dog is whining my cell phone is ringing and I'm like a fish out of water here! OMG!!!!!!!! If I pass gas my back side will be able to smell it now! NEVER AGAIN WILL I LISTEN!!!! LOL

it's an old southern remedy and it will knock the cold out of you! only....my mom's mom used MOONSHINE and mint. It stopped me from coughing for a while let me tell ya! and the heat of it will help you sweat out the fever as well. it does help, i'm just not a boozer. I'm a whimp when it comes to drinking!
