I also get a kick out of the scammers from Nigeria & elsewhere who often post ridiculous ads trying to get people to send them money. I recently saw one ad where they were trying to sell sulfur crested Cockatoos. They included in their ad a picture of two SCCs side by side but they called them "cocolattus MaCaws". LOL

Recently, in my local CL, someone posted an add trying to find a home for their 17 month old albino rott....
Funny, I could have sworn the dog looked like a pit breed!

I swear some of the people posting on CL are semi illiterate and you can hear Dualling Banjo's playing when you read their post! I can't believe they have a PC and know how to get on CL to post!
Either that or they are three sheets to the wind when they post. And remember, 'I before E except after C'

I forget the i and e rule all the time, unfortunately, but I have noticed the bad grasp of language (any language) that Craigslisters possess. What with their purebread (white or wheat?) chiwawas and their pomaniran and dotsons.... There aren't many posts on my craigslist except dogs and cats, everything else is pretty rare. But Plecostomus fish are sucker fish and Himalayans are hemilayans (Want to have your own purring Hemi?..... Catchy title, unfortunately it makes you rather dull sounding). The people on craigslist remind me that there ARE people in the world who should just not have pets, even BEFORE you get into the whole idea of the care they give, or the stupid reasons for which they give up pets.
