my mom has E Coli. She got it from eating a salad at Wendeys, there have been a number of people here get it from there. Obviouslly, they are going to get in trouble

Well, my mom is getting better, but the doctor just called her and told her she has the worst kind (especially dangerous to kids..) and that we could all have it, even if we're feeling okay right now.

Oh Emily, that is horrible! My daughter had it when she was around 17yo. From a salad at a restaurant! She ended up being hospitalized with IV's due to dehydration. I hope your mom recovers quickly. Please take care of yourself and watch for signs. You might want to purchase some antibacterial wipes for the bathroom and ask mom to wipe the seat and sink dwon after use.

thanks, Greycloud! my mom already bought a bunch of that stuff, so we're good, there! My mom is doing a LOT better, there was a weel when she pretty much had to sit in bed the whole time.. what i think is STUPID is that they were realizing people were getting it from there, but they were trying to keep it out of the news! WHAT!!? gahh, this sucks. i don't want to get sick!

There are charcoal filled gell caps at health food stores that you can buy for food poisoning. I find they work really well.

It's not medicine in the traditional sense it natural. Carbon will clean out toxins, poisons etc... It sure helped me a couple times.
