At bedtime, do your birds....

.....always sleep in the same place?

Mine do! Shinda always sleeps on the pine ledge in the top left of the cage. Mojo always sleeps in the Chube towards the right hand side of the cage.

Just wondered if most birds choose the same place to sleep every night.

I just took some pics of Mojo and Shinda before covering them over. They'd been back in the cage for half an hour so they could munch on some food but had put themselves to bed by the time I went back in there at 8.30!

You can just about see them both!

Shinda on his favourite pine ledge.

Mojo in her favourite (and most chewed!) Chube!

OMG where did you get a pine ledge? I've been looking for a ledge for my 'tiels!

Usually my pair do sleep in the same place; Angel on the left hand textured perch, Bonnie on the green concrete perch. Sometimes Angel sleeps perched on a toy (I know, odd bird) and sometimes on the newly placed big long beam at the back but Bonnie is 99% that green concrete perch, definately her perch!

You're in the UK aren't you? Pets At Home, in the small mammal section.

That's also where you'll find the Chubes which most birds also love! The Chubes come in various sizes, some small enough for 'Tiels

Mojo is so cute with her lil eyes all closed!! All my birds sleep in the same spots too. Except for the Caiques. Lexi owns the happy tent and then decides who gets to share with her each night. It changes nightly. LOL Lexi rules the Caique Army.

8:30? What time should birds be covered? I've been covering the gals at exactly 8 everynight, but I do hear them shuffling around and playing a bit before settling in, I thought that was normal.

Depends what time you need to get them up I'm off work this week so no need to get them up too early. They never make a noise til I get up.

Ahh Pets at Home, once again you show your awesome Bonnie would probably just eat it, I'm not sure how she is about small spaces I don't force her into to go to the vet

Oh yes, my birds love to chew them as much as they love to go in them! All part of the fun I replace them every few weeks!
