Well monkeys can be vicious I remember hearing maybe a year back some lady had a friend over and her chimp attacked the friend and ripped her face off and started eating it. The police had to shoot it... Poor thing just some animals are better left to their ways of life and not to be metaled with selfish humans ugh

Creatures with near identical DNA to our own....you can only imagine that being held in captivity like that would drive them insane.

And if someone kept me as a "pet" I would eat their face too. >_>



If I remember right, that woman was also regularly giving the chimp perscription meds to "calm him down."

Well ,we don't want it anyways. Plus, it was a scam. We called because we were suspicous and they texted Back (we called, not texted) "I don't have a MONKEY! Don't call again!". Ironicaly, my mother didn't even say monkey on the message she left, she said CL add! Crazy people I tell you.

sillyarwenbird, thats gross!! I saw a special on CNN regarding people who keep monkies as pets and they had both ends of the spectrum. One lady remodeled her house around a HUUUGE room which had 2 massive cages in it (reminded me of a basketball court - & another lady just kind of lived with her monkey, not really aware what it could do if it turned on her. I dont think Id risk it, it kind of freaks me out, personally.
