Fingers & toes crossed!

Back in July Bee & I had gone to a "Meet The Birds" at the Bird Brain, and we got to talking to Julie (the founder of the Gabriel Foundation). We were talking about our birds asking questions....I told her about how Pita like to lounge on his back in his hut, and she gave me her E Mail addy and asked me to send her pictures. I also asked her about volunteering and sponsoring, and possibly working for her.

Well, today I finally got a response. She gets so many E Mails that some get lost for a time. She thanked me for pics of Pita. Told me she would have someone get in contact with me about volunteering and sponsoring....LOL AND....she asked me to send her a copy of my resume......

I replied, and told her I was already volunteering and sent her pics of me & Ricky Roo. I told her how much I enjoy volunteering and spending time with the birds, and what a great facitlity it is. I also mentioned that I had posted the latest newletter about the last rescue on several parrot forums and the response was great, and to be on the lookout for some donations.

I sent her my resume....so fingers crossed......maybe I will be working for her someday. A dream come true for me
