Exact Cockatiel Pellets OK for Lovie??

My dad ordered a 3lb bag of Kaytee Exact Pellets (I can't remember if he said that they were the Rainbow or Original) for his cockatiel. He went to the local petstore and picked up 1lb of it to test it before the other 3lb package arrived and his tiel hated it so much that she wouldn't even go near her dish. Now he has 4 lbs of cockatiel food that his tiel thinks is evil. I was wondering if the cockatiel pellets are OK for lovies since I've decided that I want to get a lovebird, and they usually eat cockatiel sized foods anyways, so that my dad doesn't waste all that food.

Technically, yes they would be fine for the lovebird, but please, if you do get a lovebird, do not feed it only pellets. they need seed and fresh veggies. We've found most of our lovies detest fresh fruit, so don't bother offering anymore.
If your dad wants a good way to use the pellets, use them in a bird bread. You can always disguise foods birds think they dislike in bird bread.

All of my birds get a very varied diet. My dad isn't much of a baker, or cook for that matter, but I would love a recipe for bird bread if anyone has one to share.
