I've dealt with a few chronic egg layers. Most we've been able to distract to get the cycle stopped. The only reason I suggested the box is to let her settle in on sitting on them (you could even try removing a couple when you give her a box); which would be the natural cycle; in the hopes she'll continue to follow it and give up on the eggs in 25-30 days. Broccoli, kale and cuttlebone are what I always make sue any nesting hen has in our flock.

Why you dont just get her a male and get some fledglings ?

Because there is a thing as productive breeding. You don't just throw a mate in and get birds. Not everyone is into mass breeding. Breeding birds takes a lot of time along with a lot of money. Most breeders will tell you that if you're looking to make money quick or get rich then breeding birds is not the way to go.
