and then there was 3...
So, when I went to pick out my lovie a couple weeks ago I noticed a very pretty pair of lovebirds in a cage that was sitting in the middle of the breeder's bird room. I asked about them and her husband said that they were watching them for a friend of their's. A few days after I got Sami, I received an email from the breeder. She said, "my husband told me that you had asked about the pair that we were bird-sitting. My friend just called and said that she is no longer able to care for them and want us to find a home for them. I immediately thought of you." So, I now have 3 beautiful little lovies in my flock.
One is sea grean and the other is a normal PF. They are about 3 years old and are surprisingly tame for a bonded pair. When I got home with them I opened the cage and the sea green immediately came running out and went up on top of the cage. I bent over to say hello and to my surprise, it hopped right up on my shoulder. It was the cutest thing lol.

How cute!
I'm thinking of getting another lovebird... Beetle's breeder has a seagreen silver baby available so maybe... Best of luck with your new addition :) -e-
