Isn't it! This was the first time he has played with many of those. The wicker ring you see him munching on is the first time he has done that. He just needed the proper environment and mood to give some new things a try. Now I just need to grab everything out of his cage each morning when I take him out and replace when I go off to work at night.

I KNOW!!! Haha, this is sooooo frustrating to me. I had expected to know his gender by Thanksgiving but the first attempt was done minus one piece of paper work so the DNA testing center we sent to, have no idea who, responded quickly saying we were missing stuff and requested us to send the blood again. So, my breeder said she would resend immediately and I have been expecting the information for WEEKS!

I spoke to my breeder and she is suspecting that this DNA center is sending only a PAPER form of results in the SNAIL mail service and is neglecting to email the results. So, we put out hope that this week they would arrive. I told myself that I would wait Wednesday out and then contact my breeder again with hopes of getting the info I need to call the center myself and request the result even though the Paper certificate hasn't arrived in the mail yet.

I HATE not having a name for my little guy yet. Any longer and he will think Buddy is his name.

Haha, nah. As little of importance as gender specific names are...for my buddy I just haven't felt inspired or ready to name him without the gender known. I hate the wait, but I know this little guy/girl is going to be my buddy for years so waiting a month for a DNA test should be worth it in the end.
