Finally! As promised,

here's some pictures of Petey Pablo, the peach faced lovebird. There were taken last night. The first one is of him hiding in the Happy Hut, his new favorite place. The others are in the top most perch in his cage by his pinata, his second favorite place to be! He's still pretty shy around people, but you should see him when he doesn't know you're looking! He's a fiesty little birdie when he wants to be. He fights with his bells and spins his boing around! He 'beeps' at Millie, the dog, whenever she enters the bird room. It's like he's yelling at her to get out!

He's a sweetie! I don't know too much about peachface genetics, but he looks like an olive!

He is super cute! I was wondering do the happy huts come unravled easily? My lovebird Ulii had a something similar and she shredded it so I had to throw it away. Thanks!

yes, they are fiesty little birds. but i love mine! i just removed the same happy hut from my lovies cage, she had it for almost a year, but had chewed it up pretty good and strings were starting to unravel so i replaced it with one of those "felt" kind. i thot she wouldn't like it, but she hopped right in it when i put it in her cage. you have to be careful when they (the happy huts) start getting "ratty" cause a lovie can get tangled up in any lose strings which can result in injury or worse death.
