Pied Fischers and Masked lovebirds- need help!

ok so I am still working on removing all of the very neglected birds from crazy bird lady's house. This is a long and expensive process.

Can someone give me an estimate of what a healthy young proven breeder pair of pied green fischers, and a proven breeder pair of masked (one blue, one black) lovebirds run?

I have managed to negotiate a lot price with her for the other birds but she is iffy with these and I need a negotiating point.. I don't typically deal with these types of birds so I can't figure out if she is gouging me because she knows now that I dont want to leave her with a single bird. So far I have several peachfaces from her including a badly beaten up lutino hen. I managed to rehome the nanday conure and the cockatiels and budgies pretty quickly, and was lucky that the new owners offered to reinbuse me for what I paid for them, but I still have vet bills for the others, new cages I had to buy and of course the initial cost of "buying" these birds. I've easily spent over a thousand of my savings.

Can anyone offer advice? I'm about at my wits end.

Agreed. $100 is probably more than generous under the circumstances.

Heh, that's funny that's exactly what she offered to sell them for (Well, $110 for the pieds and $100 for the masks)

Good news, im on my way to go get them. I am picking up the last of the birds (I hope I hope I hope I hope) tonight. They are a pair of orangefaces, a pair of peachfaces (one seagreen one pied lutino) a pair of the pied fischers, a pair of the hooded (one blue, one black) and another badly beaten lutino hen.

Well I got them. I had to jury rig a cage a bit (use chicken wire to split one of my flights in half) because I ran out of cage space. I ordered some *more* cages so they should be here next week.

My vet says the masked female looks like she is ready to lay any day now so I had to run out and get the only nest box I could find which is pretty small.. She can fit through the hole fine but I think it's parakeet or maybe even finch size. I went to three different stores before I could find one. I'm probably going to just boil her eggs anyway then give them back to her, but I didnt want her to feel anymore stressed then she has to.

They are covered and quiet right now, it has been a stressful day what with the vet poking them and getting a bath and one had to have a toe amputated. But I will take some pictures tomorrow to show them all to you!
