It's usually 18-21 days once they start sitting on the eggs full time. Yes, you can clean the bottom of the cage as you usually do, because they're used to that I assume. They may come out of the nestbox while you're doing that to see what's going on, but they should quickly return to the box.

I just joined the group because I also have a pair of Lutino's w/ their first clutch of eggs. I had all but given up hope on any of them actually hatching(she was sitting on 6!) technically they should have hatched sometime during the week between Christmas and New Years. I was all set to clean the cage last weekend when my 8yo son came running through the house w/ "VERY EXCITING NEWS!!!". On of the eggs had hatched after 39 days! SO, don't give up hope. I did candle the eggs a few weeks ago, and 3 of them were fertilized. I haven't gotten rid of the other eggs yet, not sure if I should, or if the parents will do something to dispose of them. Anyway, baby is now 8 days old! I was really hoping that at least one of the other eggs would hatch so it will have a sibling.
