My little Fiona died yesterday. :(

This to me is the weirdest thing, my little lovebird Fiona, only 7 months old just died. We moved on Friday and it was really cold, but her cage was covered up with a blanket. I dont know what I did wrong, she seemed fine,?Does any one know why? I feel like such a bad owner.
thank you,
Jaime

You're not a bad owner, some birds are like that, they seem fine one minute then are gone the next. It has happened alot with our rescue wildlife birds...they are great one minute then the next time you check they are gone. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sounds like you did all you could during the move but can't give you much advice beyond that. Again, very sorry to hear of you your loss.

I’m very sorry for your loss of Fiona.
Since you ask why she died, is there anything in your new home that may have caused it? Some things to consider are fresh paint, new rugs, new flooring, recently waxed wood floors, products used to clean, drain cleaners, or pesticides all could produce fumes that are harmful.
There are many things that may have led to her death, including natural causes. Please do not blame yourself for her passing.
Good luck in finding the answer to your question and more importantly replacing the sorrow you feel with happiness.

I'm so sorry about Fiona. You are not a bad bird owner. These things just happen sometimes. She looked just like Soloman. She was beautiful!
