Question Co-parenting anyone?

I'm planning on co-parenting my new lovie babies. I was wondering if anyone with experience with this would give me some tips and advice. Thanks!!

Do you mean handleing them while they are growing? You cannot feed them and let the parents feed too. I'm not sure what your asking. My Lovie mom (and very many hens) wont let you near them they are very aggressive. I handfeed from about day ten - more info please :)

Yes, I am going to start "socializing" them at day 10-18. I will not be feeding them myself - I'll let the parents do that. Several people said I shouldn't feed and let parents feed.

I opted for socializing as someone with lots of experience mentioned that they know they are birds, but are used to humans. (Plus the time factor! I work 8 hr days.) I have a bird that was hand fed but not socialized. She is a holy terror to get her out of the cage - so aggressive. Once out, though, she's not like that and will step up and kisses. I'm trying to find another home for her.

Should I use a heating lamp while they are out, if so, what temp should they be at? That, and anyother advice would be appreciated!

I keep a heating pad on low on my feeding table when im hand feeding so i suppose you could do the same. As long as it is not too cold in your home and your holding them in your hands it should be fine. They are correct about the feeding and your doing the right thing if you work. Of course, here is me talking who takes her babies to work.LOL.
