female of male?

hi, does only female peached faced love bird shredded paper and stuffed it under their feather? If tht happens does it CONFIRM that my lovie is a female? Can male lovebird shredded paper too?

I've got 2 peached faced lovebird. one of them is a female the other's sex's unknown. Whenever the female 's ready to mate, she would open up her wing and attract the other parrot. But there's no response from the other parrot, he/she would then walk past her and continue with his/her stuff. But i've seen once that this unknown parrot shredded paper and stuff it under his/her feather. But that was only once. Does that means that it's a SHE?

to know sex of bird do DNA sexing or other way is where it bones ends mean between legs check is it V or ^ because if the bones is like this^ its female and if the bones are v then its male.
