my lovebird I just got has been scratching his head allot. Like dogs scratch behind there ears sorta? He does it kinda allot. I gave him a bath in water but do I need to use something better than just water? Do birds get dry skin? I dont think he has mites or anything wierd like that. Maybe its normal for him to just scratch.

Birds, like any other animal, human included, do scratch themselves when they have an itch. However, if this appears to be an abnormal amount of scratching you might want to consider an avian vet visit.
