So great to see....Lovebirds aren't known for getting along well with other species so you are very lucky. Keep an eye out for a little while, but the nice thing is that you've got a large enough cage that they can keep out of each other's space, if necessary.

Congrats! You are very lucky that they like each other! All of my birds have to be housed in their own cages because none of them like each other. I would love to see them interact together but it just hasn't happened yet. Way to go Professor and Schmee!

haha yea my birds have waaayy to many nicknames: Dr. Purple, The Little Man with Pants, Schmeezle, The Attorney...
I have been watched for aggression, and was pretty much expecting it. I really havent even had a tense moment watching them. Tonight they took a 30 minute bath together in their water dish, then groomed eachother clean. The Professor had never been interested in taking a bath until the big move! :-) |
