Yeah! Apple-Jack bit me!

This morning when I was changing Apple-Jack's water, he cautiously crept toward my hand and bit me! It wasn't hard or anything--he was just testing the surface of my hand.

Apple-Jack came from an extremely neglectful home where he wasn't handled, so this is progress! When I first adopted him, he would run away from my hand, now he will come out when the door is opened, or just nibble on my hand like he did earlier. He is becoming so brave (which could be a bad thing I guess)!

Thanks! Apple-Jack is getting a lot more comfortable with me; He will nibble my nose through the cage bars and has started licking my fingers. It feels really cool!

I think I'll pass on your generous offer, cherriesangela. Those big beaks are a bit intimidating!

It's nice to see progress being made and bonds being formed. I am very happy for you. Congratulations.
