The new black masked pair

Little buggers don't stop moving. Managed to get pics though that weren't just a blur. Noah (my youngest) has decided that these are his birds and has named them Megzy and Ben. They are only babes so colour hasn't fully developed yet. I used to breed black masked as a kid so nice to get back to them again. Really wanting to go with the pures for breeding so I exchanged my lime fischers for them.

They are lovely! And I can see that they are making minced meat of their ropey toys....my blue masked loves to shred rope toys, too...

I've got to do a buy up on rope swings. All the aviary ones are starting to look a bit the worse for wear at the moment. The birds do love them though from the conures through to the lovies. Might change to boings though instead. The weave seems to be less likely to fray and pull out as much.

They are beautiful. Noah did a good job with the names too. It's great that he has claimed them as his own. It's nice he has an interest in them.
