Hello! I'm a lovely lovey and my name is Lucy Liu! And I have a question for you!

Hello! I am a lovely lovey. I was born with a disability so my parents kicked me out of the nest. A lovely woman and her son fed me and kept me healthy. One day at a bird show, a little girl saw me and fell in love with me. Because of my disability, the lady couldn't sell me but she said that if just the right girl came along . . . now we're a very happy family! My previous owner named me Loopy Loo b/c I can't fly very well. My new owner thought that was a bit meanish and changed my name to Lucy Loo . . . until she remembered Kung Fu Panda. Now my lovely lovey name is Lucy Liu. I am really pretty. I'm yellow all over with a gorgeous peach crown on my forehead. This proves that I am really a Lovely Lovey Princess.

The real reason I have joined this board is to ask a question.

Should I play in the Christmas tree? It is a Virginia Pine. It is soooo inviting and looks like a fun place to play. My dear owners are very careful to keep me healthy and keep me away from things that could hurt me (like uncooked beans and scented candles -- but sometimes she has to be reminded to keep me out of the kitchen when the stove is on!). My owners are concerned that the tree may not be a healthy tree for me (I love to chew on things!). I really want to play on it and I look so cute but, safest is best.

Do please let me know what you think. I know my owners have seen some lists of things I should stay away from but no mention of Virginia Pine or Christmas trees.

Thank you, Everyone!

did I mention how pretty I am?

p.s. I haven't leaned to type yet and neither has my dear owner so her mom typed this for us.

From what I have just researched, it is best to keep little Lucy Liu AWAY from the christmas tree. The pines can be dangerous and toxic and the lights, decorations, etc. very dangerous to prying beaks.
Best let her play with her bird safe toys and YOU!
Congratulation, Lucy, on having such a wonderful home and such caring owners.
Wishing you a great holiday season.
