Lovebird Babies!!

Here are pics of our new babies. They are Orbit, Aurora, Luna and Lou Ferrigno. Lou is a bit of a runt, but we know he'll be a muscle man some day soon!
They were hatched March 8, 9, 11 and 12.

Aw, what gorgeous Violet babies!! What mutation are the parents? The third picture looks like the baby could be Double Dark Factor Double Factor Violet, 'cause the feathers are gray...??

You'll know better than I will what their colours are, Maya. I've attached some pics to get so you can get a better look.
1-Mama 2-Papa 3-Them together 4-Luna and Aurora
Luna is neat looking. She's the inspiration for the "solar" names because she's the colour of the moon.

I am hand feeding them and killing my sleep in the process. The last clutch was sleeping through the night at this age but these guys seem to love eating at night best. How the heck to people have children? It's fascinating though because it seems like every time I look at them they have more feathers out and less fluff.

While all four are beautiful I think that Luna is the prettiest!

Yes, Luna is very pretty. At first I was thinking...grey?! What the heck?! But now if the light hits her feathers, you can see a mauve undertone. Her rump is quite purple too.
