Since you got a visual Creamino, both parents are carrying the gene for blue and dad is split for ino. If he weren't, you would not get any ino babies, just males that inherited the ino gene from mom. The baby can be male or female.

Thanks for that last post. It is so interesting to learn about all the genetics of these gorgeous little birds! BTW in my first clutch they had a blue baby, not sure what exactly she is. I will try to get a pic up, and someone can let me know what this says about the parents. Thanks.
