Cremino lovebird?

Hello, I am hand feeding a clutch of new babies. One of my babies is very light in color, almost entererly white. Is this a cremino or albino? He has red eyes and he is about four weeks old! He is so beautiful!

You have a creamino. You can tell by the yellow tinge. Also, there are no albino peachface lovebirds.

A creamino has a blue series factor as well as the lutino factor. A lutino is bright yellow and red like the attached picture.

Since you got a visual Creamino, both parents are carrying the gene for blue and dad is split for ino. If he weren't, you would not get any ino babies, just males that inherited the ino gene from mom. The baby can be male or female.

Thanks for that last post. It is so interesting to learn about all the genetics of these gorgeous little birds! BTW in my first clutch they had a blue baby, not sure what exactly she is. I will try to get a pic up, and someone can let me know what this says about the parents. Thanks.
