Exclamation 2 parroyt fighting FIERCELY over 1 box. what should i do?

hi, my 2 females parrot are now fighting very fiercely over 1 box..think it's their mating period now. what should i do?
1) provide another box for one of the parrots outside the original cage with alternate food source? but the issue is that i'm afraid that there'll be territory issue as the time passed.
2) remove the box? i actually remove the box for a day but they still fought. i wonder if they'll get used to the absemce of the cage n stop fighting gradually.
3) open th door of the cage seems to be a good solution so that it provide a easy escape for them if they get into fights (their wing's clipped). but since i'm out most of the time there's no one to keep a watchful eye over them....
.........
..........
what should i do?

Why do you have a box? Are you breeding them?

Remove the box, get another cage.

no i'm not breeding them. 2 females. i don think it's possible for me to get another cage. does removing the box n keeping the cage open a good solution? i can probably do that rather than getting another cage..

If you're not breeding then definitely remove the box for good. All it will do is make them fight over it, and someone will get hurt or killed. Make sure they each have their own food dish and that will help, but you really need to get them separate cages if they don't get along.

I agree with the others and get rid of the box. The box represents nesting and both females will definitely fight especially if both are hormonal. It seems like when one bird goes into breeding mode the other females just follow!!
