I guess its a compliment...

One of my lovebird buyers call me up and say that they just can't handle the bird. The lovie wants to be with them all the time and she is so curious she gets into everything and she is smart enough to get out of the cage so they've had to wire it up in several places. They've had the bird for maybe 4 months; she was hatched on March 11.

I said to them: That's exactly what I raise my birds to be: cuddly, smart and outgoing. But she wanted to give her back anyway, so now I am plus one more lovebird.

Anyone want a smart, cuddly and outgoing lovebird?

Yeah, we *do* know what they're missing out on! Sounds like such a great little baby, too.. What did they want? A lonely bird to sit around in the cage all day and not be interested in anything? Poor baby .

There's nothing like a loving and cuddly lovebird! Wouldn't trade mine for anything ;)
I hope it finds a home that deserves him! ;)

Wow, that sounds like a perfect little lovie! It's a shame the buyers didn't appriciate her. I would take her in a heartbeat. Do you ship to Europe? ;o)

Aww, I love my snuggly lovies. They are my tv buddies at night, sit all snuggled up under my chin, on my shoulder, on my head.........just love it. Really what did they want?

I guess it would be best just to buy a stuffed parrot put it in the cage, cuddle it once in a while and feed it plastic food! They can even get one that they can record on! Perfect pet for these guys!!! The best part of owning a feathered kid is exactly that, cuddly, smart and mischievous. I have to stay one step ahead of Shakti!!!!

I think she just needed more stimulation...she's flying with my flock right now and just comes over to say, hey mum, and then flies off again. I should have given them a stuffed parrot, lol, good idea. I think their last lovebird was a bit on the dull side.

I cant believe someone wouldnt want a bird like that! Isnt that what everyone secretly hopes for in a bird? or at least hopes for that as an end results of months or years of training?? I hope that little lovie gets a good home. I would take him if I were closer (I think were a 6 hour drive). I love lovebirds!!
