Putting them together would be housing them together. You are not quarantining them by having them in 2 separate cages - they are being exposed to one another and one anothers potential illnesses. To quarantine you must have each bird in a completely separate room from one another for AT LEAST 30 days. They cannot be able to see one another, breathe one another's air or interact with one another physically. This new bird needs time to settle into her new home and get used to the new world around her. Placing her next to a bird right away can stress her out and regress the settling process.
You said she has been vet checked - did you take her or the previous owner? Have all your other birds been vet checked as well? As Im sure you know, there is also NO guarantee they will like one another or want to breed. Although it may look like they are talking to one another and wanting to be near one another, they could seriously injure or kill each other if given the chance. Please be careful if you are just going to let them out and play with one another, things can happen very fast and a very serious injury can occur or even death.

Quarantine involves totally seperate airspaces entirely -- a seperate room alone doesn't always provide proper safety measures.
What's done is done but in the future, research quarantine procedures so that you can avoid the passing and spreading of diseases between birds in your home.
