what is a love bird mating call what does it sound like?

the male is smaller then the female, and in there own cages the female keeps looking at the male and seems like she's trying to call him or something, she's making strange little sounds, and he does too. today as i was watching them very closely. he was on my bed like he always is, its his favorite place, and she kept flying over to him then he would fly away and they switch

Misty,

As advised before, it is best to keep them apart. He is already picking at his feet and pulling out toe nails. She may also begin picking at his feet if given the chance. The male has deformities in his feet so don't forget he is not a bird for breeding.

How old are you, and how close to Red Deer are you? My dad was born in Lacombe.

Hi Misty,
I'm glad you changed your mind about breeding your lovies and that your little guy is going to the vet soon. The members here may not tell you what you want to hear, but they are very knowledgeable and it's a good idea to listen to their advice. They have your and your birds' interests at heart.

Your vet will be able to tell you more about what specific sounds and body language mean too.

Let us know what your vet says.

I apologise if I misunderstood, however this sounded like they are out together.

Quick question: Have either of your birds been DNA tested?

yes there both DNA as peach has had babies before (with her past owner) and he is male,

sadly i cant take them to the vet tomorrow i have no ride :( i dont drive and the only vet clinic that will accept birds is across town and taking a taxi is out of the qustion as its way too pricy :(

if there is someone in or around red deer and willing to come with me to the vet tomorrow that would be great, if not i'll have to go on sept 18th at 1:30pm
