My lovebirds part two

today i have been watching my lovebirds..........and the big one i think is female was doing this funny move were she would jump on the catch role her head and slide down........

and they were trying to mate but the female never let him.......and was trying to get behind him....could this mean ther both male

You won't know for sure the sex of you bird unless a) you get a DNA done b)lays an egg or c) they're a sex linked mutation. we've been over this in the other thread, :P

They could both be female, they could both be male, of you could have a male female pair.

its just the sliding down the cage and rolling its head down which is confusing me.......because i did read somewhere this could mean its stressed out

Regardless of the behavior they are exhibiting, you could have two males, or two females, or a male and a female. You cannot know 100% for sure unless you get them DNA sexed. They may just be playing, exploring or getting to know one another. Again, there's no way to know for sure unless you get them DNA sexed.
