lovebird molting?

I was wondering, when my lovebird is molting, should I not touch their feathers or leave them more alone? Not sure if they are cranky during this time period or if their feathers are hurting more during this period.

I would expect her to be pretty cranky - but, if she'll let you, go ahead and touch her feathers! just be gentle! Once the sheens are ready to come off, if she'll let you, help her out! :) and make sure she has nice warm baths

ok yeah, cause she is much more cranky now , how long does it usually last for? I also got some conditioning and molting food I feed her as well now.

I know my lovebirds were super cranky when they molted but luckily they had each other to help them out so I didn't have to intervene. My parrotlet Oliver is having a real tough molt and I cant help him because he wont let me. I mist him when I can to try and get those pin feathers out quicker but he hates that too!! If they let you help them with the pins then go for it but if they dont, definitely dont force it, its an uncomfortable thing for them.
