Question Dirty Bird Habits

Will two same sex lovebirds still try to mate with each other??

Yep! They're funny little things.

You won't know for sure if you have a same sex pair or male/female, unless...

1. You see them both lay eggs

2. You have fertile eggs

You still can't tell even if you have NO eggs.

Other than these things, you'd have to have a sex linked mutation, or a DNA test to know for sure.

OK, thats good to know .... Because my normal peach faced (male) kept pinning down and mating with our lutino lovie .... And I guess when I was at work yesterday my Lutino decided she would do our male.

LOL um yes, my DNA'd males would, ahem, become interested one another. Didnt matter to me, whatever makes em happy = )
