For Peachface Lovebird Breeders

From Robert and Hercules. This is a plea for Peaceface Lovebird Breeders worldwide. One of the big succees stories of the Lovebird Societies in Australia has been the breeding of many beautifull mutations in the Peaceface Lovebird .Who has cannot deny ,what beauty it is,to see a large aviary full of them? But it also would be a sad day for Aviculture,if the origional Colour was lost.Athol Lubbe continually impresses this upon us at the Lovebird Society in Brisbane ,Australia.Hercules says,"Three Cheers To Athol".Some breeders need to see it as their mission,to keep this origional color,by breeding this bird. This is especially urgent,as some people predict that in the future, there might be none left in the wild in Africa.Best. Robert and Herules.

It's hard to say what animals will ACTUALLY BE left in the wild once humans get done with the world...

As far as mutations go, the most intriguing one I have yet to see (in photos) would be the red suffusion, which usually occurs in chicks, and once they start their first molts, they loose the red, or adult lovebirds that are usually 6+ years old and aquire the red suffusion. It reminds me of vitiligo in humans, however it wouldn't make sense with the chicks...
