You cannot help those that will not learn. I'm not trying to start a fan club, I'm trying to save baby birds. Simply because I can handfeed birds doesn't mean I should. Frankly, its a good thing I don't have any power. If I did, your breeder would be in jail right now and his whole flock would be taken away. Exposing an unweaned baby bird to a BIRD FAIR and the general public is disgusting.

With digital cameras, video and so many other tools readily available, a good breeder can simply film or live cam their infants and take deposits until they finish their job. You need not expose them to every disease known to man to sell a baby bird. If the buyer can't wait, then the breeder should know that too. After all, if there's one thing a baby, any baby needs, its patience.

Again, I'm not trying to make you feel badly. I just wish you wouldn't make it sound like a cake walk. Apparently, your particular baby was healthy and remained so. Breeders sell unweaned baby birds because they are LAZY.
