Do Tail Feathers Re-Grow...?

My B&G was accidentally stepped on the tail yesterday. She freaked out and pulled away rapidly plucking 3 of her long beautiful tail feathers. My question is will they grow again? I definately see the difference as one of the longest feathers came out. She is about 9 months and has already began to grow new, more mature feathers.

Relax. Unless some real trauma happens that injures the feather folicles, the tail feathers will regrow and fairly quickly at that. Birds in the wild wouldn't last more than a few months were that not so.

What do you mean by real trauma? She immediately bent her head back there and started picking, like trying to check the damage. I looked and there was only a small dot of blood in the feather holes.

She will be fine in a few months. The tail feathers will grow back.

By trauma I think of chronic pluckers who eventually ruin the folical, it would take more than once to cause any real damage.
