Cage aggression???

Hello all,

Well Pecos is being as silly as ever. I have now stocked his cage with toys and he loves his big bell and makes tons of noise. But now its a constant battle to get him out of his cage unless he is on the lowest perch. He lunges at me and trys to bite even if Im just by the cage he grabes the bars and squezzes them. When I finally get him out of the cage he usually hangs out on top of it and if I get close he tries to take my head off. This is an ALL THE TIME THING. But eventually he will step up. I just bought a playstand for him for like $90.00 and I plan on putting the cage in my room and the playstand in the living room where the cage is now. I really hope this helps his aggression!!!!

Well let me know what you all think!!

Here is the link for the playstand I purchased (I hope it works)

Karmen, I know what you mean. I'm having the same problem except when I'm close to his food. He has been home for 2 weeks now and he has gained 25 grams. For a grey I think its a bunch. He is a growning boy for sure.
parrots are hard to figure out as you and I are learning. Maybe we will get someone here to teach us what all this means on cage aggression.

Same Boat,

sandy
